What did you love most about your gown?
“I have never felt more beautiful than I did in my wedding dress, it was my absolute favorite thing I've ever worn and I want to thank the ladies at Enchanted Bride for helping me find it. I never had a specific vision for what I wanted, but had an overall feel. I wanted something classic, elegant, and simple, but with long sleeves that I could (ideally) take off. However, every dress with long sleeves felt too over the top or too detailed or had the wrong neckline etc. When I went to Enchanted Bride, they gave me the best recommendation and it was to get a topper for my dress (they showed me the perfect one from BHLDN that I ended up getting). I tried on the most beautiful strapless sweetheart dress with a beautiful train with buttons all down the back. My topper had buttons that miraculously matched perfectly. It was truly perfect.”
What was the most memorable moment of your wedding?
“The five minutes before walking down the aisle were so emotional and overwhelming in a good way - it caught me off guard because you get so wrapped up in the planning process, but this was the moment it hit. It was a really special, once in a lifetime kind of moment. The exchanging of vows and rings was also another special moment and then dancing at the reception with our friends and family was another core memory.”
Bridal Advice from Victoria
“Try on a bunch of different dresses! Though I ended up with the vision I originally went in with, trying on all the different styles made it easier to know that I made the right choice for myself. I didn't want to wonder "what if I had done a different style", etc.”
