Dress: Style Amal—Adore by Justin Alexander

Relaxed and romantic, this fit and flare wedding dress features a delicate illusion Sabrina neckline with on-trend side cutouts that lead to a low illusion back. Soft sequined cotton appliqués trickle down the airy tulle skirt, embellishing this lightweight gown. Finished with tulle covered buttons at the back of the bodice, the chapel length tulle train extends past the jersey lining, which brings all-day comfort to this laid-back wedding day look.

What did you love most about your gown?

“My dress was the Amal style in the Adore collection by Justin Alexander. I am absolutely obsessed with my dress (even now!) because it had all of the most beautiful designs all wrapped into one dress. The illusion neckline and the back of the dress were to die for and made me feel beautiful. I'm pretty short and the fact that my dress also came in petite was just meant to be!”

What was the most memorable moment of your wedding?

“During our dinner reception, Bryan and I had our sweetheart table where we could look out over the lake at sunset and see all our guests at the same time. It was such a touching private moment for us to be able to marvel at the view, our loved ones enjoying themselves, and the amazing food and music all at once. It was truly a perfect day.”

Bridal Advice from Alex

“Book your coordinator/planner early! Even if you are doing month or day-of coordination, your planner likely has a lot of helpful resources you can start utilizing sooner rather than later. And rely on the expertise of all your wedding businesses and vendors! As you hire vendors, ask them who else they would recommend to round out your wedding team. They are passionate about what they do and know how to make your day perfect. And remember they are working hard to give their other clients a perfect day too! Don't expect a vendor to respond to your email same-day if you are trying to correspond on their busiest event days.”

“We did a boat exit! Winter Park Boat Tours picked us up at the Capen dock and were amazing to work with. It was so romantic being out on the water looking at the stars!”
