What did you love most about your gown?

“I loved my gown mostly because it was the perfect combination of everything I wanted. I came in knowing I wanted to be able to dance at my wedding, but I wanted a fitted gown. I wanted satin, but I also wanted lace. I wanted classy and elegant but also southern. I have always been told I have contradicting dreams, but this time I was able to find everything I was dreaming of.”

What was the most memorable moment of your wedding?

“There was moment at the end of the night when the DJ finally played a slow song and me and husband were able to stand forehead to forehead and just take a deep breath. All the pressure from the day was gone in that moment, and it was just us dancing at our wedding.”

Bridal Advice from Katie

“I would say to make sure you drink water, and incorporate in your busy timeline of the wedding day a time for just you and your husband to catch your breath.”
